TEAM: | stats | photos | The Gryphons The Gryphons are a competitive baseball program for quality players 18 and over. Playing out of the National Capital Baseball League (NCBL) for the first time in 2003, the Gryphons were the 2003 Tier Champions. Among of the most important members of the Gryphon organization are its sponsors. Without their financial support, the Gryphons could not be the exceptional organization that it is. As a philosophy, the Gryphons advance three core principles: contribution, commitment and performance. As a result, the Gryphons train for 10 months out of the year. The program is intensive and focussed, but is accessible for all players, regular or part time. Gryphon players are enthusiastic and enjoy the training aspect of refining and improving their game. Moreover, our players are fully committed to the team concept and collectively work towards creating a positive environment. The Gryphons are operated by General Manager Phil Taylor and Manager Rob Woodbridge, providing extensive experience operating successful baseball teams. Guest instructors are regularly brought in as part of the program.
